Product Introduction
Socket welding flanges are flanges where the pipe end is inserted into the flange ring step and welded to the pipe end and outside. They come in two types: with neck and without neck. Necked flanges have better rigidity, less welding deformation, and better sealing performance, and can be used in applications with pressures of 1.0~10.0 MPa. Type B flanges for vessels are also socket welding flanges, used in applications requiring high sealing performance. During design, socket welding flanges can be checked as integral flanges.
