Product Introduction
An orifice flange is a technical term in the field of chemical engineering. As a type of slip-on steel pipe flange with a neck, its materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Sealing face types include raised face (RF) and recessed face (FM), with a nominal diameter range of DN10~DN600. Applicable pressure ratings cover PN2.5~PN40 and Class 150~Class 1500 standards, conforming to national standards, American standards, German standards, and many other international specifications.
This flange is mainly used for pipe connections in orifice flow meters. The orifice plate is fixed by two flanges, and the pressure signal is transmitted to a differential pressure transmitter through the flange pressure taps to achieve flow measurement. During installation, the flange must have sufficient strength, the sealing surface must be flat and clean, the gasket must be made of oil-resistant and anti-aging material, and the gasket compression should be controlled at approximately 1/3 while maintaining uniform tightening force. Industrial applications include chemical, petroleum, and power industries, and the applicable standards include various types such as integral flanges and threaded flanges.
